Job Summary
PopBookings is hiring a Senior ASP.NET Developer to help build and maintain web and mobile applications for its event staffing platform. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to technical direction, architecture, new feature development, and modernization of existing applications.
The developer will work closely with design engineers, database developers, QA specialists, and other team members. Responsibilities include developing new functionality, refactoring existing code, performing system analysis and testing, debugging, documentation, database development, and validating QA test cases.
The role also includes managing GitHub development branches, pull requests, code reviews, issue tracking, and code merges. The developer will participate in process improvements, technical documentation, user training materials, and ongoing communication with a distributed team using collaboration and conferencing tools.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, along with at least 2 years of C# development experience. Strong knowledge of .NET, MVC, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, MS-SQL, Entity Framework, database design, Git, and GitHub is required. The position requires independent work, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
The position can be performed remotely or from PopBookings’ Kansas City office, with Kansas City candidates preferred. The role offers flexible hours and little or no travel.
