Job Summary

First&Third, a remote web design and development agency and WordPress VIP and Shopify Plus partner, is looking for a Website QA Tester for a part-time contract position.

Responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, conducting functional, visual, responsive, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing, and checking important user journeys. The role covers WordPress and Shopify functionality, including forms, navigation, e-commerce carts, checkout processes, accessibility checks, analytics tracking, performance indicators, redirects, and metadata. Testers will document reproducible bugs in ClickUp, coordinate with project managers and developers, and retest fixes.

Applicants should have at least four years of hands-on website testing experience or equivalent demonstrated skills. Practical knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, browser developer tools, HTML, CSS, cross-browser testing, and routine accessibility checks is required. Familiarity with BrowserStack, Lighthouse, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Playwright, or screen readers is beneficial. Reliable availability during agreed US business hours is essential.

This is a remote, part-time contract role. Applicants should provide an introduction, relevant testing experience, hourly rate, weekly availability, time zone, and an anonymized bug report or example of an important issue they identified. Finalists will complete a short paid testing exercise with the time limit and compensation agreed in advance.
