Job Summary
Colorado State University is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to support the Division of Learning Innovation by developing and maintaining reliable, accessible, and scalable digital experiences for learners. The role covers learner-facing websites, web applications, middleware, data connections, and integrations supporting online, continuing, professional, Extension, and lifelong learning programs.
The developer will build full-stack solutions connecting websites and applications with Salesforce, content management systems, registration platforms, payment gateways, marketing automation tools, analytics systems, and Canvas/LTI technologies. Responsibilities include developing front-end components and back-end services, creating secure API integrations, improving performance and accessibility, troubleshooting applications, supporting releases, testing code, and maintaining technical documentation.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of professional experience in front-end and back-end web development, application development, middleware, integrations, or related technical work.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Salesforce, WordPress, Drupal, Sitefinity, RESTful APIs, .NET MVC, Entity Framework, cloud services, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, SEO, A/B testing, WCAG, ARIA, Canvas/LTI, and payment or registration systems. Experience in higher education, nonprofit, public-sector, or other complex digital environments is also beneficial.
