Job Summary
Fueled is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable infrastructure platforms supporting digital products and enterprise client environments. This fully remote role is open to applicants across South Asia, with preference for candidates working in IST or PKT time zones.
The engineer will own cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CDK. Responsibilities include architecting highly available environments, managing production Kubernetes workloads through EKS and AKS, handling networking and autoscaling, and improving infrastructure reliability and performance.
The role requires strong Linux expertise, including system configuration, troubleshooting, security hardening, and performance tuning. The engineer will also manage data and caching technologies such as MariaDB/Galera, Redis, Memcached, and Elasticsearch, while supporting services including NGINX in production environments.
A major focus is automation and delivery. The engineer will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps, while developing Python and Bash automation to reduce repetitive operational work. Additional responsibilities include observability across metrics, logs, and traces, security improvements, load testing, incident response, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Candidates should have senior-level experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps, with strong AWS and Azure knowledge. Production Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, Linux, CI/CD, Python/Bash scripting, monitoring, security, and production data-service experience are important. Experience with GCP or Oracle Cloud is an additional advantage.
