Lorven Technologies is seeking a WordPress Front End Developer for a 100% remote contract role open only to candidates in the Ontario region, Toronto. The position focuses on enhancing and maintaining a major sports ticketing website while delivering scalable, branded, user-friendly digital experiences.
The developer will build and maintain responsive WordPress websites using clean and efficient code, create custom themes and plugins, and develop WordPress admin interfaces that allow non-technical users to easily manage content and branding assets. The role also involves managing QA and staging environments, using bug-monitoring tools such as Sentry, and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
A key responsibility is integrating the Ticketmaster API to create dynamic “Buy Tickets” functionality with click-through tracking and marketing attribution. The developer will also support analytics implementation, SEO, GEO-targeting, cross-browser compatibility, site performance, and event-related traffic monitoring.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of WordPress development experience and 5+ years working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with strong PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development skills. Experience with third-party APIs, analytics, QA environments, bug monitoring, SEO, and website optimization is highly relevant.
