Radish Lab is building a Developer Talent Pool for experienced WordPress Developers who can lead and deliver complex client web projects. This is a remote, full-time contractor position, with candidates required to work within approximately 2–3 hours of New York (EST). The company particularly prefers candidates located in Latin or South America.
The role involves developing and maintaining custom WordPress websites, translating visual designs and user interactions into clean, responsive code, and collaborating closely with designers, developers, project managers, and clients. Developers will use WordPress and may work with the Roots.io Sage approach, while contributing to project planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing development.
Candidates should have 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience, along with strong PHP and MySQL skills. Experience with HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript frameworks, Laravel or other MVC frameworks, Composer, Node packages, Git, CI/CD, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility is required. Strong written and verbal English communication and the ability to work independently are also important.
Additional experience with React, Vue, Angular, WCAG AA accessibility, Advanced Custom Fields, Sage, and creative agency environments is considered a plus. The position also offers international contractors access to certain employee-style perks, including professional development opportunities.
