Job Summary

Liaison is seeking an experienced software engineering professional to lead a Scrum team responsible for designing and developing highly scalable, multi-tenant web and data applications serving higher education institutions. The role contributes to platforms used by colleges, universities, and educational organizations while helping shape new product capabilities and technical solutions.

The position combines hands-on development with technical leadership and mentorship. Responsibilities include building enterprise applications and APIs using C# and .NET, developing web interfaces with React or Vue.js, and creating cloud-native solutions using technologies such as AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis. The role also involves participating in architecture discussions, improving platform scalability, and supporting critical production issues.

The developer will provide guidance to remote frontend and backend engineers, collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other technical leaders, and contribute to technology evaluations and prototypes. Strong emphasis is placed on automated testing, Test Driven Development, API integration testing, code quality, and continuous improvement.

Experience with microservices, SOA, OOP, REST APIs, Git, Docker, Linux/Bash, npm, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON is also expected.

The listed base salary range is $120,000–$170,000 USD, with exact compensation varying based on skills, experience, and location.
