Dexcom is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support its Data Platform engineering team. This opportunity is suited to an early-career software testing professional with experience in test automation, backend testing, Python or Java, API testing, cloud platforms, and CI/CD. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated tests for backend applications, APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems.
- Work with software engineers during the planning and development stages to identify testing requirements early.
- Investigate software defects, document findings, and provide developers with information needed to resolve issues.
- Review failed test results and troubleshoot technical problems to identify their underlying causes.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover defects that automated test cases may not detect.

Preferred Skills

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline is typically expected.
- 0–2 years of related professional experience is generally required.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving abilities are important.
- Travel: Approximately 15–25%.
