Role Summary
CueCamp is seeking a WordPress Developer to help create and maintain high-quality websites and digital experiences for its clients. The role is suited to someone with strong WordPress and front-end development skills who can work across website customization, responsive design, SEO, e-commerce, integrations, and user experience improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins and resolve website issues.
- Develop responsive, cross-browser web experiences using modern front-end technologies.
- Work with WooCommerce, shopping carts, SSL, and other e-commerce solutions.
- Improve website interfaces, JavaScript/jQuery functionality, and overall usability.
- Apply SEO best practices during development.
- Perform unit, integration, and user-acceptance testing.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs, including tools such as Google Maps.
- Collaborate with other developers and communicate professionally with clients.
- Work with source-control platforms such as Git or SVN.
- Adapt to emerging technologies and contribute creative technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with JavaScript technologies such as jQuery, Ember.js, or Angular.js.
- Understanding of JSON, responsive layouts, browser compatibility, and cross-browser development.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Knowledge of graphic-design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Understanding of SEO-focused development and website analytics.
- Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and version-control systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a development team and interact with clients.

Compensation & Application
- Full-time: Approximately $90,000 per year
- Part-time: Approximately $35,000 per year
- Earning potential: Not capped
- Eligibility: U.S. candidates only
