Role Summary

Native Commerce is seeking a part-time developer to manage and improve a large network of WordPress websites and GoHighLevel marketing funnels. The role centers on website performance, security, deployments, troubleshooting, and connecting website activity with lead-generation and marketing systems.

Main Areas of Work

  • Manage website environments, including staging sites, migrations, updates, and production releases.
  • Improve loading speed and overall website performance, with particular attention to Core Web Vitals.
  • Handle WordPress maintenance, security updates, vulnerability checks, and backup systems.
  • Diagnose technical SEO problems such as broken links, redirects, crawling problems, and indexing errors.
  • Turn design files into responsive website pages using Elementor or comparable tools.
  • Connect WordPress with GoHighLevel through forms, tracking, webhooks, and API-based workflows.
  • Investigate issues independently and create clear documentation for recurring fixes and procedures.

Experience Needed

Candidates should have 3–5 years of hands-on WordPress experience, preferably supporting busy websites or larger WordPress environments.

Important technical capabilities include:

  • WordPress administration, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Website caching, CDN configuration, image optimization, and performance improvement
  • Elementor and responsive page development
  • GoHighLevel setup, funnels, forms, domains, automation, and integrations
  • Git and WP-CLI for controlled deployments
  • Experience with managed WordPress hosting environments
  • WordPress security, malware prevention, updates, and remote backups
  • PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript troubleshooting
  • Ability to work with SEO-related WordPress functionality and third-party scripts

Additional Experience

Knowledge of Redis or Memcached, PHP 8.3 optimization, Cloudflare edge functionality, and design-system workflows can be advantageous.

Contract Details

  • Schedule: 20–25 hours per week
  • Contract: Initial 3-month engagement, with potential for continuation
  • Work setup: Remote
  • Availability: Candidates should be able to provide coverage during important GMT+8 working windows
  • Compensation: Hourly pay aligned with the upper range of the Philippines market for comparable WordPress/GoHighLevel expertise
